About
Out From Under sober living is a recovery residency program for men, founded in 2019 by Cas Ballard and Buzzy Gibson. Both gentleman had a deep seeded desire to help other men obtain the same gift they had received. They opened their program in hopes of men finding the same program of action or a design for living that would be their own foundation to build upon a life worth living in long-term sobriety. The program is a minimum of 6 months that are broken down into 3 phases. It is rooted in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. When residents start the program, they're expected to hit the ground running by going to a 12 step meeting immediately, obtaining an in-house sponsor, starting stepwork, and getting familiar with "the 7 daily disciplines."

*7 Daily Disciplines: (1) morning prayer, (2) meditation, (3) call their sponsor, (4) read the big book, (5) go to a meeting, (6) do something for someone else without anyone knowing, and (7) nightly inventory/prayer.)
